Most SMD load cells use sputtered thin film technology, giving them a higher bridge resistance and lower power consumption than the competition. Our sensors have a typical Bridge Resistance (i.e. "Terminal Resistance" or simply "Resistance") between 1,000–10,000 Ohms while the competition uses silicon or bonded strain gauges with insulation resistance between 350–1,000 Ohms.
