Our highly reliable bubble sensors and bubble detectors include digital "smart" circuits that can be calibrated to precisely detect bubbles in almost any fluid and tubing material across a wide range of tubing sizes.
Our noninvasive bubble sensors can be designed for any tubing material: steel, plastic (PVC, fluoropolymers including Teflon, polyethylene, nylon, etc.), silicone, glass and others. Standard bubble sensor models are available for tubes as small as 1/16" OD and as large as 1/2" OD. We also offer custom bubble detectors for larger tubes.
For extremely accurate bubble detection, SMD regularly carries out bubble size testing and writes reports to be used as part of a customer's FDA approval process. At our facilities, we can generate bubbles as small as 0.5 microliters for testing of our sensors. For may of our customers, we also complete bubble size testing on 100% of shipped parts in order to ensure critical bubbles are detected and nuisance bubbles are ignored.
